- Author Biography: Kazuo Ishiguro was born in Nagasaki, Japan, in 1954 and moved to Britain in 1960. He earned his Bachelor's Degree at the University of Kent at Canterbury and his Master's Degree at the University of East Anglia. He now lives in London with his wife and daughter.
