THE THING.....was enclosed in a metal cage, restrained behind sturdy bars. Three scientists, all wearing white smocks, stood outside the cage, One of the scientists, a young slim woman, held out a plate of raw steak. She moved closer to the bars.

"Here, boy," she said in a high, tense tone. "Here, try this."
The thing was squatting in the middle of the cage growling.

"Nice boy, Try this." the scientist reached the bars and touched them with the plate.

The thing was on her before she could react.

Snarling. It bounded to the bars, its right hand flicking out and grabbing the woman by her wrist. She shrieked and attempted to pull away, but it was much stronger. It yanked her arm, forcing her to drop the plate, then pulled her arm between the bars. Before the other two scientists could stop it, the thing buried its teeth in her wrist. Blood sprayed everywhere.

CURSE OF THE PHARAOHS

From the silent tombs of the pharaohs it came,
infecting the world
with an insidius disease more terrifying
than the Black Plague.
The vile infection transormed those it touched
into savage, demented beasts.

But the victims of this ancient curse did not die,
they onverran the earth,
thriving on the meat of the healthy.
Survivors had two options:
contract the hideous sickness, or meet
a violent death
in the rabid jaws of an inhuman killer.....
