I will try to get to some this weekend - I'm only coughing up half a lung now, but I do have a birthday party on Sunday. Hopefully I'll get some time on Friday Night or Saturday Morning to get a list of about 20 authors for you!! Though I may skip putting on their websites, etc.

That's fine Rip, I can find their websites myself. I probably won't get to work on anything until late Sunday night anyway.

Hi Rip

Sorry I haven't gotten to any of these authors. I have computer problems and there is a probem adding books right now. Gollum is working on it.

That is cool - but you never really have to be sorry - I'm putting them out there as I find them, and you do not have to be the only one entering them. You do a fantastic job, and anytime you (or anybody else) can get to them should be fine!!

Unfortunately, I seem to be the only one entering. Maybe it just seems that way.

I will begin entering some initial books for some of our newly added genres soon, possibly today.

Hey Darb

I would like you to try and enter a book and see if it errors you out. I know Gollum was going to work on it, but I think he might not have gotten to it yet.

Hope you manage to avoid losing files, and that your new PC is wonderful. :)

Meanwhile, if you get bored and interested in a change of pace, there are a bunch of authors whose works we could add into genres 106 and 107:

Genre 106:
{snip}
Arthur Jensen, Charles Murray, Albert Bandura, George A. Miller, Sigmund Freud, Raymond Cattell, Erik Erikson, Hans Eysenck, Viktor Frankl, Donald O. Hebb, Clark L. Hull, Carl Jung, Jerome Kagan, Gordon Allport, Walter Mischel, Kurt Lewin, Abraham Maslow, David McClelland, Stanley Milgram, Edward Thorndike, John Raven, Kenneth and Mamie Clark, Alfred Adler, Neal E. Miller, Ivan Pavlov, Jean Piaget, Carl Rogers, Stanley Schachter, B. F. Skinner, William James, Leon Festinger, John B. Watson, Wilhelm Wundt, Barbara Hannah.
Genre 107:

Some books here, and a few more below ...
I'll whittle away at a few in my spare time.

Terry,

Stella Cameron needs a little work. I know of at least one book not in our DB (A Cold Day in Hell), which is 'A Bayou Book', and that series is not listed either. Last but not least at stellacameron.com under her booklist it appears that she has written under another name, and I couldn't find that connection in our DB.

W.E.B. Griffin also needs some work. He has a few books missing AND his page on Wikipedia list him having about 10 pseudonyms, and we have one of them, so they really should be added.

Hi Guys

Sorry for not helping in the last week or so. My sister is sick (Pneumocystis Carinii Pneumonia) and I have been out of town with her. I will be back with her on the weekend. I will try to get back to work soon.

Thank you guys for the well wishes.

I added:
Arthur Jensen & 7 books
Charles Murray & 6 books
Albert Bandura & 4 books
George A. Miller & 3 books

Certainly not all of their books by a long shot. Darb, you might want to check my genres on these guys.

Thank you, Terry. I will go and admire your handiwork.

In general, for most of those authors, either genre 106 and/or 107 are primary, and sometimes self-help may apply as secondary or tertiary, or other. As usual, let the blurb dictate what's entered.

Ok Rip. I worked on Greg Rucka, but all those comic books confuse me. Collections and series and a lot of them have the same name. Maybe that member who is a comic book specialist (can't remember his name) could finish Rucka off for us. I'm confused and brain dead. I'm moving on to another author.

I havent looked to see what's involved here, but Database policy is to NOT enter individual comic books because they are magazines, not books. The only exception are omnibus graphic novels in which an entire series is collected and reprinted in a novel-like format
