Looking for a book about a young girl with 2 thimbles

I am looking for a book about a young girl, who goes to live with relatives (possibly grandparents). She finds, I believe, two thimbles that take her back and forth in time. I believe near the end of the book a great historical battle takes place. Would love to find this book.
