I mentioned chipping brush piles was going take longer than I thought?
Sigh.
Yep, some of the piles are still there.
I haven't had time to do much on the fiction front for awhile now.
Real Life was busy throwing in including trips along Highway 1 and work conventions and tests for promotion (still waiting to hear) and one friend of mine says she feels guilty now for helping me get back to work in the first place.
I'm not sorry she did--health care costs being what they are--but I would like to get back to a more leisurely pace.
This may not happen, as more friends of friends are scheduled to come pouring through here this summer, but we will see.
