Disappointing Announcement - Gemmell Awards Discontinued

Hey all,

I just thought I'd share some information I came across earlier.

As of this year, the David Gemmell Legend Awards have been discontinued.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the award, it was established in 2008 with the intention of "restoring fantasy to its proper place in the literary pantheon".
Gemmell Awards Closes
Considering the principles involved, what are the odds that Murphy's Law is named after the wrong guy?
