Audiobook Narration

Hi Mr. M.,

I'm currently listening to Roger Zelazny's The Chronicles of Amber, narrated by the author. In the past, I've also greatly enjoyed several other works where the author opted to narrate his or her own work, particularly JRR Tolkein's narration of The Hobbit, and Neil Gaiman's narration of Neverwhere.

Out of curiosity, have you ever considered narrating any of your own works?

Having heard my own voice in recorded form, I long ago decided to leave that to others. That's obviously an individual choice, and some authors are quite good at it. I doubt I'd be one of them.
