I'm always here, even if I don't always say something. :D

I hope Peter or Kevin shake loose soon, so we can start working in ernest towards our relaunch. This thumb twiddling is frustrating. I totally sympathize.

I'm still busy laying groundwork for us with some of the other sites I'm supporting, which should serve us well when we do our relauch. The logjam issue is actually getting to the relaunch point ... I can't capitalize on the groundwork I've laid until we can get there.

If/when we can get there, I can start pushing go on some of the irons I have in the fire ... like an article/interview in American Scholar.

Hey Darb, the article idea is very cool. What is stopping our progress? What is the relaunch point anyway? And why can't we get there?

IBDaF ... and Forum.

We're waiting on availability of our lead developers, Kilty and Peter.

In all fairness to both of them, they both started new jobs not that long ago, and are still trying to settle into them ... AFAIK. These things happen. Doesn't make the waiting any easier though.

What we need is more more developers onboard.

Could someone add Drood by Dan Simmons to the site?

(here's an entry of the book on openlibrary, if that helps with data --> http://openlibrary.org/works/OL1963255W/Drood )

Much appreciated!

Sorry for my prolonged absence. I will get back to giving you more authors, but I’m not exactly sure how soon (or how many)! Many times, life intrudes on what we want to do, and during those intrusions we need to do what we need to do – this happens to be one of those times. About two months ago, one of my uncles was diagnosed with advanced cancer, and given no more than six months to live. On a positive note, my niece is getting married in early October. So you can see that some of my days are rather sad, while some are rather happy, but is leaving little time for other interests of mine.

Ok. Could you add KOP by Warren Hammond?

Some links that could be useful:

Here you go Gordy.

I got James Lee Burke up-to-date except for any anthologies. I added 27 books.

I added "The Gilded Age" to Mark Twain.

Laurie, Do you think he is looking at IBL instead of IBDoF?

Gordy, do you mean the IBList website?

If so, that's a separate database from IBDoF, and you'll need to contact the IBList Admins to get these books added there.

If you scroll down the Forum Index page, there's an IBList section where you can leave a post about this matter.
