I missed out the "He Said" part because it isn't sung, but yeah, I suppose it should be there.

Hell yeah! Every Time I Die is such a cool video. I love that dude in the black cloak with the scythe running through the forest to kill Alexi who is strapped to that thing.

Anyone who wants to see the video - http://launch.yahoo.com/artist/default. ... ID=1033690

It is up the top of that page.

Narnia - Judgement Day

I've seen them falling everywhere
Like candles fading unaware
Imprisoned by a world of glass
We fight for freedom, but when will we face it

Sinners and saints living under the same sun
Holding the key to the world in thier hands
Our time on earth's drawing nearer the end
In the light of judgement day

We bow our heads for our pride
Hiding under the dreams that died
What lies beneath might be revealed
So we keep running, from the face of God we turn

Sinners and saints living under the same sun
Holding the key to the world in thier hands
Our time on earth's drawing nearer the end
In the night of judgement day

Sinners and saints living under the same sun
Holding the key to the world in thier hands
Our time on earth's drawing nearer the end
In the light of judgement day.
Narnia - The Great Fall Of Man

We can walk across the desert...sail the seas
We can rule the world and tame our destiny
The price we pay for immortality...is death
In shallow waters we run aground

Move on now, the sun is setting
On all that is left undone
Awaiting the final wake up call
Just to fall asleep again

Live for tomorrow, die today
The lies that feed us are leading you astray
Worshiping the holiness of mankind
Close your eyes and leave it all behind

Power of depravity, killing you within
Leaders lie and children die in this mean machine

Worshiping the hollowness of mankind
Close your eyes and leave them all behind

Time after time...
We keep resisting
Time of redemption...shall come in the end
We'll heed the warning
Lead us from slavery...
We cry

How long can we go on this way? when will we ever be true?
And how can we justify our deeds...
When all we've have accomplished for two thousand years...
is raping and killing, wounding and stealing
The tower of Babel higher we climb
Cloning humanity, blindfolding God
Heaven's on sale now, just pay with ten faithless souls

In the name of religion we slay

Burning the candle, sooner then we think, it's coming to an end
Rush through the moments, do not look behind
You might just feel the need to breathe
Inhale the poison, pumping through your veins indoctrinated
Stay through the dark night, when the morning comes
You'll be rewarded...scarred for life...

Try to rise above it all...again
One more time we crash and burn
One way out is all that's offered here
Trust the machine, hold on to it's promises

Move on now, the sun is setting
On all that is left undone
Awaiting the final wake up call
Just to fall asleep again...

Live for tomorrow and die today
No room for questions on our way...

As long as this moment is not the end, I remain alive
Tomorrow I will pray for the ones who did not survive
Tell me all who made it... and show me all who fell
Upon the clouds of heaven... into the fires of hell
Distant light beyond our vision, yet so beautiful
Inminent night, darker than the depths that evil revealed
Gently picking up the pieces of this shattered dream
I place the broken puzzle into blood stained hands
From the safety in the distance... I watch the great fall of man

Time after time
Time of redemption shall come in the end...
Lead us from slavery
We cry...after time...
Time of redemption shall come in the end...
Lead us from slavery...
We cry.....
Narnia are a Christian power-metal band. Quite cool.

Megadeth / Risk / Prince of Darkness

"My victims are rich or poor, young or old, strong or weak
I cause millions of accidents, I am cancer in your bones
I fathered the lie, twist what you say, speak not the truth
I am insidious, impartial, deep inside your chromosomes

I take what you love, and leave you in tears
I imprison your soul, your hopes are my games
I strip you of pride, my promise is in vain
While you burn at the stake I dance with the flames

I bring poverty, sickness and death
A worthless handshake, the slickest thief, I steal your wealth
I answer your prayers for greed and lust
More than evil, I laugh at your trust

I am more powerful than all the armies of the world
I am more violent than violence, more deadly than death
I have destroyed more men than all the nation’s wars
I am relentless, unpredictable, waiting for your last breath

Evil, more evil than violence
Violent, more violent than death
Deadly, more deadly than man
I am yeah, yeah, I’m evil I am

My kingdom corrupt with dissent
Your sins erupt by my intent
I loathe your prayer, I wallow in sin
Let the nightmare begin
Prince of darkness, your satanic highness
Prince of darkness, the devilish serpent, the dreaded lucifer
Prince of darkness

I take what you love, and leave you in tears
Imprison your soul, your hopes are my games
I strip you of pride, my promise is in vain
While you burn at the stake I dance with the flames

Prince of darkness, your satanic highness
Prince of darkness, the most beautiful angel
Prince of darkness, the devilish serpent, the dreaded lucifer
Prince of darkness, unpredictable, the prince of darkness
Prince of darkness"

combined with other of the lyrics on 'Risk' it almost makes me think that dave is starting to question spirituality... weird, huh.

Good Ole Megadeth.

I must admit. I have never really heard much of them because I have always had a bias against Dave Mustaine since I learn that he was kicked out of Metallica as he was being a dickhead.

Still, I respect his musicianship; as it was he who wrote the opening riffs in Metallica's Call of Ktulu. Awesomely cool riffage there!

Rollins Band / Weight / Liar

"you think you're gonna to live your life alone
in darkness
and seclusion
yeah I know
you've been out there
tried to mix with those animals
and it just left you full of humiliated confusion
so you stagger back home
and wait for nothing
but the solitary refinement of your room spits you back out onto the street
and now you're desperate
and in need of human contact
and then
you meet me
and your whole world changes
because everything I say is everything you've ever wanted to hear
so you drop all your defenses and you drop all your fears
and you trust me completely
I'm perfect
in every way
cause I make you feel so strong and so powerful inside
you feel so lucky
but your ego obscures reality
and you never bother to wonder why
things are going so well
you wanna know why?
cause I'm a liar
yeah I'm a liar
I'll tear your mind out
I'll burn your soul
I'll turn you into me
I'll turn you into me
cause I'm a liar, a liar
a liar, a liar

I'll hide behind a smile
and understanding eyes
and I'll tell you things that you already know
so you can say
I really identify with you, so much
and all the time that you're needing me
is just the time that I'm bleeding you
don't you get it yet?
I'll come to you like an affliction
and I'll leave you like an addiction
you'll never forget me
you wanna know why?
cause I'm a liar
yeah I'm a liar
I'll rip your mind out
I'll burn your soul
I'll turn you into me
I'll turn you into me
cause I'm a liar, a liar
liar, liar, liar, liar

I don't know why I feel the need to lie
and cause you so much pain
maybe it's something inside
maybe it's something I can't explain
cause all I do
is mess you up and lie to you
I'm a liar
oh, I am a liar

if you'll give me one more chance
I swear that I will never lie to you again
because now I see the destructive power of a lie
they're stronger than truth
I can't believe I ever hurt you
I swear
I will never lie to you again, please
just give me one more chance
I will never lie to you again
I swear
that I will never tell a lie
I will never tell a lie
no, no
ha ha ha ha ha hah haa haa haa haaa
sucker
sucker!
oh, sucker
I am a liar
yeah, I am a liar
yeah I like it
I feel good
ohh I am a liar
yeah
I lie
I lie
I lie
oh, I lie
oh I lie
I lie
yeah
ohhh I'm a liar
I lie
yeah
I like it
I feel good
I'll lie again
and again
I'll lie again and again
and I'll keep lying
I promise"

Dave Mustaine since I learn that he was kicked out of Metallica as he was being a dickhead.

from what little i know of the incident, it seems that that was the kick in the pants he needed to get him to straighten his act out. he certainly seems to have gotten workman-like enough with his Megadeth production. regardless, dave's being a dick isn't really a very good reason to refuse to listen to a classic like 'Symphony of Destruction':

Megadeth / Countdown to Extinction / Symphony of Destruction
"You take a mortal man,
And put him in control
Watch him become a god,
Watch peoples heads a’roll
A’roll...

/chorus/
Just like the pied piper
Led rats through the streets
We dance like marionettes,
Swaying to the symphony...
Of destruction

Acting like a robot,
Its metal brain corrodes.
You try to take it’s pulse,
Before the head explodes.
Explodes...

/chorus/

The earth starts to rumble
World powers fall
A’warring for the heavens,
A peaceful man stands tall
Tall...

/chorus/"

Katatonia - Evidence

I hold my breath and check the time
One minute no collapse
If you only knew what I would do for you
One thirty breathing lapse
We're going in my voice is thin
When I tell you to remember
That no one will find you
My promise from the heart
If we part my pulse will guide you through

Be still for a moment
Everything depends upon you
If you die I will die too
Once we were heroes
But everything has changed since then
Now they recognize you too

I stay too long something's wrong
You walk out of the picture
I hold my breath and check the time
One thirty I collapse
We went in my voice was thing
When I told you to remember

I'm the evidence
You passed the test and that's so good for you
O love will you read the letters I will send to you
Will I come along
Will they let me out to take the test
O love is the score enough for me to pass the test
Katatonia - One Year From Now

One year from now will I be strong
Will I stand up for what I've become

Everything I have I will give you
And everything I own I owe you

One year from now dare I call you mine
A year ahead from now it's a different time

Yeah, Katatonia. I heard they were doom metal so I went to check them out, but they sound more like dark/gothic rock really. It is still pretty cool though. No screaming for a change.

Ahhh, the old Metallica was uber cool. Too bad they haven't done anything worthy of listening to since 1991.

Warning! these lyrics contain some vulgar language, do not read if you are sensitive or easily offended by such things.

This song is by Green Day, and is called Time of Your Life:
Another turning point a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist directs you where to go
So make the best of this test and don't ask why
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time

It's something unpredictable
But in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life

So take the photographs and still frames in your mind
Hang it on a shelf in good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth it was worth all the while

It's something unpredictable
But in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life

It's something unpredictable
But in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life

It's something unpredictable
But in the end is right
I hope you had the time of your life

I find it really meaningful, and great lyrics.

Green Day are pretty cool.
Agathodaimon - Sacred Divinity
In peaceful silence she lies there and sleeps
Dreaming of secrets conceiled in the deeps
Of our long forgotten history.

Those who are devoted to her know that she keeps
In her pure soul the key
To our identity.

I will guard your ancient dreams
Protect my lovely sleeping beauty.
I will give my life and love
For my Sacred Divinity.

Now the wintersun paints her in shining gold.
Smiling she wakes up and asks me to hold
Her gentle hand in mine.
Her graceful white body trembles in the cold.
She knows today the forces will aline - Forces hating the divine.
I will save you from their blind
And unreflecting treachery.

I will guard your soul and life
My Sacred Divinity.

I will always stand by your side,
Save you from their tyranny.
Or I will die for my love,
My Sacred Dininity.

Hear the storm blowing, see the skies darkening,
On marketplaces and in churches crowds of them are gathering!
Here they come marching, betraying and lying,
To take our love, and our souls, to destroy everything!
They do not care for your soul and your purity!
Nothing do they feel for you except of everlasting envy!
Neither do they know nor understand your biography,
They hate your beauty, hate all beauty, and fear your ascendency!

After this cold day of sadness and grief
She is left without any hope or belief
In a day after this night.
Will she in death find at last a relief,
A place of silence and light
Where everything is alright?
I broke down and cried in sorrow
In despair and mistery.
I cried for my love and passion,
My Sacred Divinity.

All that I could do was stand there
Helplessly in agony,
And watch them dishonouring
My Sacred Divinity.
Methinks this is sums up Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code quite well. These guys are quite interesting. On their website they have what their name is about. It is interesting. http://www.agathodaimon.de/english/agameaning.htm

Please help me with the interpretation of this song! What does it mean!?
Sawao Yamanaka wrote: Subhuman : The Pillows

Goodbye
I must be leaving now
Because maybe
I'm full of likes and dislikes
The noise on the street is unbearable
But maybe
I have got nowhere to go

So I wanna be a bat
And I want to touch the sun
I will try to force a smile

I cannot stand this heat
Please tell me
Where I am right now

I woke up at midnight again
Oh baby
I did not know what to do next
I can't see
But I can feel, all the time
Oh baby
I have got nothing to lose

Just I wanna be a bat
And I want the shining star
I will try to force a cry

I cannot stand this heat
Please tell me
Where I am right now

This is kinda what I get from it:

He seems angry and upset. He just wants to leave, but there is nowhere to go. He wants to be something, but he feels he can't. He tries to hide his feelings. It seems as if everything is against him and he doesn't know what do anymore. He doesn't know where he is or what he's living for. He becomes almost numb to the pain and confusion. He has hidden his feelings for so long that he can't just let himself cry and let it show. But within he is pleading for help because he's so hurt and confused.

Yeah, so that's what I got from it. Sometimes you can go to the group's website and they will explanations for their songs. You may could try that if you haven't already.

Excellent song, I like it. :thumb:

If anyone would like me to E-mail them this song I will happily do it. However it is around 7Mb. I don't know if that will affect the download in any way but it might. Just PM me and I'll happily e-mail it to you. I'm trying to introduce as many people as I can to the Pillows, so this will just help me on that quest. Subhuman (song above) is in English which is pretty rare. So if you ever want to check out the Pillows let me know and I'll E-mail you some songs  I send each song with lyrics and an English translation if possible/necessary. Hope to hear from you.

Ok, you guys HAVE to check out this band!

They are called Orphaned Land. They are from Israel and they have very middle eastern sorta sounds, but it is metal. It is soooooooooooooooooo cool!! Very refreshing. The lyrics are a bit strange, but oh well.
Ocean Land (The Revelation)

"Before eyes that are blind no more
A sight unseen that tears the soul
All we ever loved and known
Into mass graves is what we're shown"

"We see an ocean once was land"
& So they come to understand
This place where man used to be born
Will be man's water throne

"All that was magical, beautiful,
will be gone"
These measures call for divine intervention
"All the achievements of man,
one will stand all alone"
One the survives the final selection
"The sand in the hourglass,
moves so fast, slow the sand
And nothing that mankind has strived for
will be all in ocean land"

The rain will fall then
Filling the dried land

"Here are we servants three,
flesh and blood
Poor and weak,
hear thou speak of the blood"

It must be a sign
A message from God's hand
Basically, their point is to unite Islam, Judaism and Christianity. So, I guess that is pretty cool.

bob rocks your world with:
AC/DC / Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap / Squealer

She said she'd never been
Never been touched before
She said she'd never been
This far before
She said she'd never liked
To be excited
She said she'd always had
Had to fight it (and she never won)
She said she'd never been
Never been balled before
N' I don't think
She'll ever ball no more (fixed 'er good)

Hey Squealer - when I held her hand
Squealer - made her understand
Squealer - when I kissed her lips
Squealer - and sucked her finger tips
Squealer - she started getting hot
Squealer - made it hard to stop
Squealer - it got too much
Squealer - I think I've got the magic touch

Hell's Bells - AC/DC

I'm a rolling thunder, a pouring rain
I'm comin' on like a hurricane
My lightning's flashing across the sky
You're only young but you're gonna die

I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
Nobody's putting up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get you, Satan get you

Hell's Bells
Yeah, Hell's Bells
You got me ringing Hell's Bells
My temperature's high, Hell's Bells

I'll give you black sensations up and down your spine
If you're into evil you're a friend of mine
See my white light flashing as I split the night
'Cause if good's on the left, then I'm stickin' to the right

I won't take no prisoners, won't spare no lives
Nobody's puttin' up a fight
I got my bell, I'm gonna take you to hell
I'm gonna get you, Satan get you

Hell's Bells
Yeah, Hell's Bells
You got me ringing Hell's Bells
My temperature's high, Hell's Bells

Here's another song by the Pillows

Translated from Japanese
Sawao Yamanaka wrote:The Pillows: Carnival

All alone on the ferris wheel
Looking down on the world I hate so much

I was waiting For the day you and I would meet
I sat up straight in the sunbeams, and they burned me
I opened the window meant just for me
I was waiting For a day like that to come here

Even reaching out my hands
It's an age that gives no rewards
A future that gives no salvation
Peals of my laughter would come at just a kiss with you

In the footsteps of those who have gone before
I want to chant, with my swimming head,
A blessing with that ineffectual charm
I've just one ally And that is you

If I were to keep my eyes open
They'd be hurt
By the wind which pierces the night
Peals of my laughter would come at just a kiss with you

The two of us
Dreamt at the same time
Of an age reborn
A future with a rainbow hung in the sky
At just a kiss with you, I came to tears

I was waiting For the day you and I would meet.
One of their better love songs (lyrics wise) that I've seen.
Stay tuned, more to come.

This one is for you Kahrey. I have an idea of what this song represents but I like your explanations a lot better.

Translated from Japanese.
Sawao Yamanaka wrote:The Pillows- Blues Drive Monster

It's as though I've got something on my glasses,
No matter where I look
Today, too, unchanging landscape
Disappoints me
What the heck kind of system is everyone using
To control their emotions
I felt as if I was going insane, and started crying
But I'm sane, I'm sure
Morning Station
I couldn't board the packed train

The era of boys locking themselves away in rooms
Littered with keys
Slipping out from the radio,
An electric monster
The speakers only whisper out
What you shouted at the top of your lungs
I saw the era's chosen hero
Vanquished before my eyes
Power Station
I'll give you as many volts as you want

Blues Drive Monster
Can't you just smash up this melancholy world of ours?
I'm forever waiting

Adults wrinkle their brows
Your laughing voice
And your footsteps, announced your arrival
Drawing slowly nearer
Those guys are holding a pistol
Aimed at your overlarge throat
To think that sort of thing would have any effect on you
Is so conceited
Radio Station
Destory the wall of illusions

Blues Drive Monster
Can't you just smash up this melancholy world of ours?
I'm forever waiting

How many times did you hoist dreams upon your shoulders
And run
Until the night turned into day?
Anyone can post their opinion if they want to, I'd just like to hear Kahrey's opinion.
