Hehehhehe!!!

We had a shetland pony (white) named "Snowball"--a stubborn little creature that would feign a limp until the pasture gate was opened, then RUN LIKE HELL to the horizon!

Hehehehehe

God, I loved that miserable beast!

Then we had a little Welsh/shetland mix pony named "BUCKY" who would actually drop to his knees as if having a heart attack. When we got off to inspect him, He snickered (Yes, literally snickered) and ran like hell to the barn in hopes of some oats.

Heheh hehehehe

Who says animals don't have personalities?

We had a lot of horses, growing up on the farm.

Prince--a mean Welsh stallion that bit and kicked at every opportunity.

Dottie--the most enormous horse I have ever seen--a beautiful appaloosa who died of meningitis. It took the five of us kids DAYS, but we dug her a grave as we didn't want her to be hauled off to the rendering plant.

Sinbad--an arrogant but loveable Arabian

Cocoa--a tiny pony we got for a dollar--he had not been cared for properly, and his hooves had curled up like Turkish bedroom slippers. They were so bad, that there was nothing we could do about it--he just had to hobble around like that. He was like a giant cat. He loved nothing better than to lay in the sweet grass with his head in your lap while you stroked his face and told him all your secrets and woes. I wish I still had him. What a sweetie.

Thunder--a big palomino with the disposition of a friendly dog.

Tattoo--a very small Arabian who was sweet and shy.

There were others, but those are the ones that stand out.

My sister now raises Missouri Foxtrotters--they are beautiful and good tempered animals.

Oh, yeah!

I'll have to dig for them though.

We have a picture of Bucky in the dining room standing next to the buffet.

heh heh heh

We tempted him in with carrots and apples, took about 20 pictures with my mom's camera, and replaced the camera in her drawer. When she got them developed---

Well, let's just say the fecal matter hit the air circulation device. She didn't think it was NEARLY as funny as we did...and the worst part was that the horse came prancing up the steps every chance he got since he associated going in that funny barn with lots of good things to eat.

My sister's site must be messed up. Her kids are always tinkering with it.

Nice pic, Cho. :thumb:

BTW, is that your office--it looks a bit cluttered. :P

Hmmm...I really need to get around to posting a pic so that I can stop being a faceless entity floating around in the void of cyberspace... Someday.....................

Naw, I can't stand avatars--I don't know why they get on my nerves...but they DO. Which is why I use the disable avatars option--and refuse to have an avatar myself...

Maybe I'll just have to go buy a digital camera or something...

Actually, it's sort of fun being faceless and bodiless.

How would we know? The only way to prove you are not this man is to post a pic.

LOL

You should see my desk--I MUST be VERY sane.

A true story: One day, the girl in the office was late, so I had to do her paper work (for the patient menus and all that), and got it done faster and better than she could--but I had her desk so messed-up with paper that she couldn't make heads or tails of it--I had papers literally everywhere! But that's how I work: physically, everything *seems* to be it chaos...but mentally, I have it all down--very weird, I think...

Side note: I really seem to like using the word "Actually" tonight...

Is that the word you use to keep the "evil wombles at bay?" :P
